The Artist
Christopher Marley is a master of nature's diverse brillance taking creatures beautiful or frightening and turning them into a work of art.
A keen eye for design and a passion for entomology come together to make one these of a kind pieces. Careful attention is given to the flow of negative space, coloration and selection of each specimen.
The Work
Colors in all pieces are natural and because they are structural instead of pigmented they are as durable as any color the animal kingdom can produce.
Museum quality, 8-ply, acid free mats quietly compliment the beauty of each butterfly or bug. Frames are extra deep and architectural and hermetically sealed to keep them preserved.
The Care For
Experiment with the lighting for each piece. Some, such as the Morpho butterflies, work best with a low watt direct spotlight to pull out the luminescence. Others, such as the beetle pieces, work best with a wall generously lit in natural ambient light.
Pheromone works should not be exposed to direct sunlight. High levels of humidity such as steam bathrooms and extrems in temperatures should also be avoided.
Each piece is guaranteed. |
